EMORY MONTAGUE
. This is how they go on, deluded by ignorance. Bound by their greed and entangled in a web of delusion, whirled about by a fragmented mind, they fall into a dark hell. Self important, obstinate, swept away by the pride of wealth, they ostentatiously perform sacrifices without any regard for their purpose. Egotistical, violent, arrogant, lustful, angry, envious of everyone, they abuse my presence within their own bodies and in the bodies of others( . )

A couple married recently -- how brilliant. Marriage. My belated congratulations to the updated Avery family. I suspect that it's quite a joy -- although by experience, of course, I wouldn't really know. But being unmarried is a pleasure in itself when one is young and not necessarily of a mind to take care of a companion, I'd surely dislike to make a young lady worry when I am off on my numerous adventures. Abstinence is a dance of a gentleman, no?
I enjoy reading an awful lot -- care to know a favourite activity of high-blooded wizards in the tribal areas of Africa? Ceremonial cannibalism. How ghastly. I'm unsure if it's strictly a tradition of their wizarding community, but going by this book, it's supposedly an honour to invite someone to consume your body -- with special attention to the brain, lungs and heart -- when you are upon your deathbed. To be consumed is to give one's life-force and strength over to whomever is most beloved.
It's quite disgusting, the more I think about it. I must see it done one day.
